2002

  • Copper State Turbine Engine Company established by former-Honeywell employees: Jim Nordstrom, John Phoenix and Mike Croye in Scottsdale, AZ.


2003

  • Company purchases the maintenance portion of Executive Aircraft Services based at Scottsdale Municipal Airport, Scottsdale, AZ.
  • EAM approved as a Honeywell Major TPE331 Service Center.
  • 4 full-time employees at year-end.


2004

  • EAM moves to larger facilities (hangar and shops) at Scottsdale Municipal Airport.
  • Airframe capability bolstered through facility and personnel additions.
  • Aerospace Machining Center established.
  • 17 employees at year-end.


2005

  • P&W PT6/JT15D Authorization received.
  • Plans approved for new Office/Hangar complex.
  • Engine Shop opened at Anchorage International Airport in May.
  • Honeywell names EAM as STAAR Service Center for 7 consecutive quarters.
  • Authorized by Honeywell for:
    • TFE731-2 thru -60 Turbofan Line Service
    • TPE331-14 Turboprop Line Service
    • GTCP36-100/-150, RE100/RE220 Line Service
  • 27 employees at year-end.


2006

  • Appointed -10 Conversion Center by Twin Commander.
  • Machine Shop expansion.
  • New Hangar construction begins.
  • Twin Commander names EAM "Most Improved" Service Center for 2005.
  • EAM is host facility for MU2 PROP Seminar 2006.
  • TPE331 Test Stand Refurbishment completed.
  • First Twin Commander -10 Engine Conversion completed.
  • 32 employees at year-end.


2007

  • New 18,000 sq. ft. Office/Hangar complex completed.
  • European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approval received.
  • Engine Shop expansion completed.
  • EAM begins TPE331 Line Maintenance training for Predator B (MQ9 Reaper) personnel.
  • Avionics Department established.
  • EAM Hosts Twin Commander University event.
  • 37 employees at year-end.


2008

  • EAM maintenance capability established at Glendale Municipal Airport, Glendale, AZ.
  • Chilean DGAC Approval received.
  • Honeywell Avionics Sales Authority received.
  • First TPE331-14 engine received for repair.
  • Cessna Aircraft appoints EAM/Glendale as Piston Aircraft Service Center.
  • Appointed Renaissance Conversion Center.
  • 53 employees at year-end.


2009

  • Twin Commander University again hosted by EAM.
  • Garmin, Avidyne, Aspen, Cobham/STEC, Aircell, L3 Communications, Flight Display Systems, and Sandel dealer authorizations received.
  • EAM Training Academy has provided Line Maintenance Training to over 200 personnel aligned with the MQ9 UAV operations.
  • Honeywell-Authorized TPE331-14GR/HR Major Maintenance received. 
  • Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal "Certificate of Validation" received for TPE331 Engine.
  • The FAA approves Inspection Authorization Renewal Training for a variety of TPE331 training courses including: TPE331 Pilot & Technician Systems Familiarization (16 hrs), TPE331 Line Maintenance (40 or 56 hrs), TPE331-8/10N Line Maintenance (40 hrs), and TPE331-14GR/HR Line Maintenance (56 hrs).
  • EAM receives Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC) de México certification, CO-019/09.
  • 62 employees at year-end.
